Thank you for you inquiry to the Bath Lift Store. Below you will find a complete description of the charging capabilities and steps to charge the battery in the remote of the Bellavita bath Lift.
Once you receive your new Bellavita bath lift, it will already be assembled for you. Open the box, and you will see a full spec/description sheet. Simply attach the suction cups to the base, connect the back and your off, taking a hot bath. When you receive the bath lift, the battery pack has a half cycle charge on it, meaning you can use it a few times as soon as you get it. After the 1st bath, you will need to place the hand control to the battery charger and let it charge for a good 3-5 hrs. There is a battery indicator light on the hand control. This bathtub lift is the Finest and easiest to use of them all. We want you to fully understand how this unit actually charges. First, you have a waterproof gel sealed rechargeable battery pack inside of the hand remote. There is a extension cord coming off the end of the hand remote with a receptacle on the end. That receptacle plugs directly into the back of the bath lift to give you your 25-30 lifts per charge.
